 Los Dryheavers

"ROCK N' ROLL FOR THE OUTTA CONTROL!"

The insurance papers on the van claims its home is Watsonville, but these guys get all over the California Coast rocking out all ages crowds wherever they go. Now these heavy hitters of Cali Punk are twisting and turning on those late night roads to come to your town and make you sweat, scream and shout. Check out some of their tunes on the web and download Padre Obrero, Libertad, and Why Try. Also peep the videos on their MySpace site. Soon you'll be into their full strength sound, head on out to their show, where you can pick up their CD, Words of Surrender, or get it online at Interpunk.com

DISASTROID

"I solomny swear to do righteous battle against this wasteland of consumerist apathy"

Heavy, dark and moody, just like that Bay Area fog that makes summer feel like winter and a flannel shirt a must. Minutemen style punk with original & cutting vocals bring it all together, this Frisco trio can groove or blast depending on how they feel or where the music takes them. Check out their songs on MySpace, ready for download, Day in the Park, Three Strikes, Chasing Ghosts, and Their EP is available on cdbaby.com and iTunes.com and it sounds like they have a full length CD in the works to be released soon. Check their MySpace for details. Rocking out at the usual juke joints and roadhouses around town, 2 shows this month @ my 2 favorite venues. Annie’s Social Club & Thee Parkside!! See ya there!!

NINJA PANTHER

LittleBook: What's been your most defining moment as a band? Ninja Panther: When Huffy decided to start playing bass in addition to singing, after our bassist quit to go to Ninja School. LB: Most memorable show you’ve played?? NP: Getting to play the Rickshaw Stop July 31st with Vin Rouge and My Revolver. That place is awesome. LB: favorite pre / post show; food, indulgence or ritual? NP: If there is one thing you can say about Ninja Panther, it's that "we likey doughnuts!" and we all love the Philly cheese steaks at All Star Diner at Market and Van Ness. LB: what’s the hardest thing about being a San Francisco Band? NP: Loading in and out in San Francisco sucks because there's never any parking. Studio Rent is also way too high. LB: What’s next, are you working on any new recordings? NP: We will be recording our debut CD this fall. It will be a VERY DIY recording session, done completely in our studio space. We have invested some loot into recording gear, and we're very excited to get cracking on this CD. LB: Favorite San Francisco Band?? NP: Nothington, The Papersons, Victory Party, Sly and the Family Stone, DJ Qbert, & My Revolver. LB: Favorite TV Show or Movie filmed in San Francisco?? NP: Full House, Nash Bridges, Bullet , Dirty harry, & Mythbusters.
